SCHWARI TANZANIA: Miriam Odemba As The New Brand Ambassador
SCHWARI designed dress for Miriam Odemba who as of this week takes on the responsibility of becoming a new brand ambassador for the brand. She swirls beautifully at the press conference this Friday at Paparazzi, Slipway.
Narola Ekm is her new manager and will assist with Miriam's initiatives which include promoting models and designers.
Beate Allard was born in Mbeya and has lived in Tanzania all her life. She is the face behind the brand and is working with over 18 women at her workshop in Arusha. Most of her designs incorporate Masaai beading. Here she wears one of her latest ready to wear tunics with a belt from Schwari Collectables.
SCHWARI has been operating since 2008 and was one of the few Tanzanian brands to showcase at London Fashion Week.
SCHWARI is available in Arusha at the Blue Heron, Haile Selassie Rd and in the store in Dar es Salaam at Slipway, Maskai.
