ELEPHANT CONSERVATION: Tausi Likokola Speaks Out!

Last night was one of the night I will never forget and will add straight another chapter to my next book. Yes a lion approached a tent where I was sleeping with my kids at the beautiful exclusive little Chem Chem safari camp in Arusha Tanzania. Yes I will detail more of the experience soon….and to make it even more thriller was to drive this morning with my host Nicolas, my family, photographer Riccardo and staff to a group of five lions eating an antelope. Africa is blessed with beauty, natural resources and of course the wild life that we should protect. These pictures were taken this morning with Riccardo on a series that will be published and narrate the wildlife conservation and anti poaching. Elephants have roamed the wild for 15 million years, but today this iconic species face the biggest threat to survival due to continued ivory poaching. As long as there is a demand for ivory, elephants continue to be killed for their tusks…..If we don’t act now elephants could face extinctions…..stay tuned……

FASHION TIPS

Safari fashion can range from khaki, beige, camouflage colours or to wearing t-shirts with conservation messages such as the one above.

Join models worldwide by tying a knot and hash tag #knotonmyplanet to show your support for conservation.

This was me during a film shoot early this year in Tarangire National Park in Tanzania tying a knot with my scarf in support of elephant conservation!
