Sonya Kashmiri launched her eponymous
accessories label in London in Autumn 2008, and has since exhibited at both
LONDON and PARIS fashion weeks. The collections use a combination of
natural and organic materials such as Italian chrome free leathers to create
sculptural, elegant and desirable items with a sustainable edge. There is a strong focus on structure and shape,
symmetry and detailing such as clean raw edge seams that has since become a
signature of the brand. All Accessories are produced in Portugal and the
majority of materials are sourced and made within Europe.
Sonya Kashmiri has worked as a designer since
1997, with brands such as Acupuncture footwear and Biba. It was whilst training
in footwear design at the renowned Cordwainer's college that Sonya developed
her love for design and an affinity for natural materials.
After seven years in
the industry, she returned to do an M.A. with a focus on craftsmanship and won
a scholarship from the prestigious Girdlers, the Guild of bag makers.

Livia Firth, online VOGUE, loved her bags soo much that she bought a few and features them often when she does her fashion updates,' Today I Am Wearing ', on VOGUE.
